New Delhi [India], February 22: Casey Aviation Private Limited, in collaboration with Quick Silver Freight Systems Pvt Ltd, is proud to announce the launch of its revolutionary DevDoot Air Ambulance service—a hybrid gyrocopter platform specifically engineered for rapid and cost-effective emergency medical evacuations in the challenging terrains of the Upper Himalayas and Ladakh.

Under the new Helidisha policy and in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to transform India into a global aviation manufacturing hub, DevDoot stands as the first Made-in-India aircraft of its kind. Toeing on to the proven legacy of the Cheeta and Chetak fleets, DevDoot is being built by seasoned aviation experts to operate at altitudes between 5,750 and 5,900 meters, ensuring that even the most remote communities have access to critical, life-saving medevac services.

    A Legacy of Operational Excellence
At the forefront of this initiative is a distinguished leadership team including:

    • Air Marshal G S Bedi (Retired): A highly decorated Kargil War veteran whose three decades of operational excellence underpin the robust design of DevDoot.
    • Dr. Ravinder Pal Singh: An experienced search and rescue pilot with extensive experience from Air Works, Vistara Airlines, and numerous humanitarian missions.
    • Mr. Pawan Kakkar and Mr. Navneet Kakkar: Visionary leaders ensuring strategic direction, operational efficiency, and robust supply chain logistics.

    Strategic Collaboration & Support
Quick Silver Freight Systems Pvt Ltd, with its 40-year legacy of pioneering expedited door deliveries alongside the FlyKing group, will support the initiative by managing a comprehensive global supply chain. Quick Silver is set to open a dedicated bonded warehouse in Manesar/Gurgaon for R&D, manufacturing of aeronautical components, and the initial assembly of DevDoot units. This integrated approach ensures seamless production and rapid deployment.

Key Features of DevDoot Air Ambulance

    • Hybrid Propulsion System
    • Advanced Rotor Technology
    • AI-Driven Flight Control
    • Robust Airframe Construction
    • Integrated Medical Logistics

A Vision for a Safer Future
Pawan Kakkar of Quick Silver Freight Systems underscores the significance of this initiative:

“Life in the far-flung villages of the Upper Himalayas is incredibly tough, especially during frigid winters. These communities deserve the right to medical aid, and DevDoot is the timely answer. It not only offers rapid, reliable emergency transport but also represents a remarkable CSR opportunity for corporates globally to give back to society.”

    Looking Ahead
With the support of visionary leaders and robust strategic partnerships across the globe, the first DevDoot Air Ambulance, proudly Made in India, is expected to take off as early as the end of 2026. This milestone will mark the beginning of a new era in emergency aeromedical logistics, ensuring that life-saving services extend to the remotest regions of our nation.
